EMPOWERING YOUTH ABOVE AND BEYOND SPORT
WHAT WE DO
Throughout the year, youth girls and boys (grades 1st - 8th) are exposed to a variety of fun experiences designed to refine psychosocial skills, develop civic engagement and learn more about Colorado Springs - “Olympic City USA”.
Past Enrichment Opportunities: Olympic Training Center, Broadmoor World Arena, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Pikes Peak Center - Black Violin Concert, Tinseltown Movie Theater, Fine Arts Center, Harlem Globetrotter Basketball Game, Denver Broncos Junior Training Camp, USA Basketball U18 3v3, Denver Nuggets Basketball Games, Monte Morris Basketball Camp, Mountain West Conference & Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference “Youth Sports Day”, UCCS Basketball Game etc.
Eligibility Requirement: Youth must attend 4 out of 5 basketball clinic sessions during the clinic season.
Back to School Drive
Since 2018, 120+ participants have received fresh haircuts, Hillside Connection branded backpacks, school supplies, and BBQ following our Summer Basketball Clinic. Thanks to great support from local organizations, youth are provided the tools and confidence needed to achieve academic success!
Past supporters include: El Pomar Foundation, Pikes Peak Community College, Colorado Springs Utilities, Hot Cuts Barbershop and Styles, and A Touch of Perfection Barbershop.
